About Dixon Taylor

Dixon Taylor DDS is an orthodontist and resident of CaliforniaA skilled orthodontist with over two decades of experience, Dixon Taylor, DDS, MSD, currently maintains a private practice in Concord, California. Dr. Dixon Taylor focuses on providing the highest level of orthodontics care by utilizing advanced technologies and procedures in a friendly, comforting environment. Serving patients of all ages, he offers expert treatments for a wide array of orthodontic issues, including spacing, overbite, and upper front teeth protrusion. When an issue that leads to serious interferences in sleeping, talking, chewing, and other daily activities cannot be corrected by standard braces, Dr. Taylor is accomplished at performing corrective jaw surgery. He employs state-of-the-art technology to achieve results that are both functionally and aesthetically optimal for the individual patient.

Dr. Dixon Taylor graduated from Brigham Young University in 1979 with his Bachelor of Science and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the Medical College of Virginia in 1983. Dr. Taylor’s postdoctoral training included serving a residency in Orthodontics at the University of Tennessee. While at the University of Tennessee, he also earned his Master of Science in Orthodontics.

Since establishing his career in Concord, Dr. Taylor has served as an active member of the Contra Costa Dental Society. His leadership roles with the organization include holding the position of President. He also maintains affiliations with the Pacific Coast Orthodontic Society, the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Orthodontics.

Dr. Dixon Taylor is married and has four children. In his free time, he enjoys outdoors activities such as mountain climbing, wakeboarding, tennis, and golf.
